Proofs and approvals in one click. Templator opens your proof template, copies the selected artwork onto it, fills in the job details, makes the job folders, saves the AI file and exports the PDF.

Your templates

Open or place a template into a new or existing document.

Artwork on the proof

The selected artwork copied onto a new artboard.

Details filled in

Job number, customer, date and anything else you ask for.

Saved and exported

Job folders, the AI file and a PDF in one go.

From artwork to approval form

Templator opens or places your template file, makes a new artboard, moves the template to its own locked layer, and copies the selected artwork from your document onto it.

Fills in the details for you

It asks for the information you set up, like job number, customer name and job title, and replaces text in the template such as the date and name. It can also look details up from a website or database: type a job number and get the job name and customer back.

Filed and finished

Create a folder and sub-folders from the details, save the AI file and export a PDF. Use it to set up a new job folder with a blank working file, to make an approval from the selected artwork, or to add an approval form to the current document. See the documentation for more.

New in the free updates

Copying a template from another file is more reliable, with no copy and paste, so your clipboard is left alone.
