Script Launcher

Run your own JSX scripts straight from the PowerScripts panel. Point Script Launcher at your script folders, on your computer or the network, and every script is one double click away, sorted and in its folders.

Open the PowerScripts panel (Window > Extensions > PowerScripts) and choose Script Launcher from the Tools scripts. The script has two tabs: Scripts and Folders.

1. On Folders, add the folder your scripts are in.
2. Go to Scripts: every .jsx and .js script in the folder is listed.
3. Double click a script to run it.

Your scripts, in alphabetical order, with subfolders shown as a folder tree. Double click a name (or press the button next to it) to run the script. If a script fails, the panel shows its error message.

The folders Script Launcher looks in. Add as many as you like, on your computer or on a shared network drive. The list saves itself. If a folder can't be found, the panel warns you.

1. Put your scripts in one folder on the network.
2. On each computer, add that folder on the Folders tab.
3. Everyone now has the same scripts, and a script changed in the folder is changed for everyone.

Script Launcher has a Run Script action you can give a key with Hotkeys and Quick Keys: enter the script's file name, and the key runs it.

• Organise big collections in subfolders: they show as folders in the list.
• Looking for scripts? There are many free ones online, for example by SATO Hiroyuki and John Wundes, and on the Adobe Illustrator community. We can't guarantee or support other people's scripts.

• Script Launcher runs your scripts. It doesn't include the scripts shown in our video.
• Any standard Illustrator script works: the same ones you'd run from File > Scripts.
